  •  Suntera an Oil & Gas company in its dispute with a PSU in relation to cash calls (preparing PowerPoint Presentation, written submissions etc. to present the case before OEC).
  •  Taipan Resources an overseas Oil & Gas Company (drafting and reviewing of seismic acquisition contracts, secondment agreement, general purchase agreement, invitation to tender master document, consultancy agreement, non-disclosure agreement etc.).

  •  Nerine an American trust company in preparing various trust related documents such as trust deeds, wills, general power of attorney and giving opinion Indian and Hindu succession laws.
  •  Advised Century 21 India Private Limited on property due diligence and reviewed leave and license agreement for various properties situated in Delhi as well as in Mumbai.
  •  Advised SH&P a London based law firm in registration of a Trademark in India.

Aditya is a regulatory lawyer with extensive experience of representing clients before various electricity regulatory commissions, APTEL, High Courts and Supreme Court. He has appeared before various Electricity Regulatory Commissions, and before the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity for disputes arising out of power purchase agreements, tariff orders, competitive bidding process, and the like and he has been a part of landmark litigations in the Electricity Sector, including decision on Renewable Purchase Obligations, Open Access Charges, Must Run Status, Rights of L1 bidder etc.

  • b) South East UP Power Transmission Corporation Limited: Representing SEUPPTCL before APTEL and UPERC for matters relating to tariff dispute and SCOD;
  • c) Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited: Representing GUVNL before GERC in a matter related to compensatory tariff.
  • d) Mytrah Energy: Representing Mytrah before various ERCs, APTEL and High Courts.
  • e) ACME Solar: Representing ACME before various ERCs, APTEL and High Courts.
  • f) National Solar Energy Federation of India: Representing Federation before various ERCs, APTEL and High Courts on various issues concerning solar industry including but not limited to enforcement of renewable purchase obligation, challenge of the generic tariff order, participation in public hearing during amendment/formulation process of any regulation (Appeared in almost all public hearing on forecasting and scheduling regulation, any amendment in renewable energy regulation etc.) challenging backing down instructions, challenge of regulations concerning cross subsidy/wheeling charges/additional surcharge etc.
  • g) Adani Green Energy Limited: Representing Adani Green before various ERCs and APTEL on various issues concerning solar industry including but not limited to dispute concerning payment, denial of procurement for higher CUF, Section 63 PPA approval, challenge of generic tariff etc.
  • h) Greenko: Advise on various regulatory issues and representing it before various electricity regulatory commissions on various issues including but not limited to cancellation of tender process, renegotiation of tariff post discovery under Section 63 bidding process etc.
  • i) Orange Renewable: Advise on various regulatory issues including but not limited to control period, impact on concluded PPA of the review of tariff order, transmission line etc., impact of “Scheduling and on the project .
  • j) Fortum : Advise on various regulatory issues including but not limited to land procurement, solar power policy, impact of forecasting and scheduling regulation, evehicle, review of various bid documents etc. and representing them in APTEL for dispute concerning procurement of electricity by generating companies during shut down period of the plant.
  • k) Vivaan Solar(Solar): Representing before Madhya Pradesh High Court, MPERC, PSERC and KERC on issues concerning open access, must run status, cross subsidy, additional surcharge etc.
  • l) Narmada Sugar (Bagasse based cogenerating plant): Advising on applicability of cross subsidy surcharge on bagasse based cogenerating station, representing before MPERC and APTEL concerning issuance of direction to DISCOM to enter into PPA;
  • m) Open Access Users Association of India: Advised them on various open access related issues.
  • n) Represented various solar developers (prior to competitive bidding era) for issuance of direction to various DISCOMs to enter into PPA and have also represented Sun Edison (It used to be one of the biggest renewable energy company of the world) before various forum.

He has strong interest in academics and regular contributed/quoted in Mercom, Solar Quarter, EQ International, Business Standard, Economic Times, Bloomberg etc and taking few credit courses in IIT KGP and played instrumental role in finalization of courses on energy law of various law schools.
